Completes hospital and nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/Education Coordinator. ER Charge Nurse must also possess Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.

MRI Technologist

DEFINITION: Under the supervision of the MRI Supervisor/Radiologist, the MRI Technologist shall be responsible for performing imaging procedures as prescribed by the Physicians under the direction of a Radiologist while maintaining any licensing, continuing education and abiding by all State and Federal safety regulations as required by law, and in accordance with the established policies and procedures of McBride Orthopedic Hospital. The MRI Technologist should be demonstrate wise use of time, energy, and resources to function within the confines of the approved budget for the MRI Department and perform all work according to the mission, vision and values of McBride.

Housekeeper

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The Physician Assistant must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the American Association's Council on Medical Education. DEFINITION: The Coding Assistant is responsible for assisting the Certified Coder with reviewing, coding and procedure entry for all surgeries and appealing those not paid in accordance with the established policies and procedures.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent GED and one year related experience and/or training in a medical billing office. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to perform general clerical skills, basic typing/keyboarding and must have the ability to pay close attention to detail. At check out, is responsible for ensuring the patients' visit charges are recorded properly and all monies collected, and return visits scheduled in a friendly, professional manner. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one (1) year clerical and/or front desk experience, preferably in a medical setting. Ability to read, write and comprehend documents, and company policy and procedure manual. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out job responsibilities. Must be able to multi-task and possess the ability to deal with problems and stressful situations in a professional manner. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make change from all denominations of money. Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma and two years related medical office experience, with knowledge of medical coding preferrred.
